KO-500V6 guard tour reader is an upgrading product on the basis of KO-500V+guard tour reader. KO-500V6 can not only read a normal RFID tag whose working frequency is 125KHZ in the distance ranging from 3cm to 5cm but also read a 2.4G RFID tag in the distance ranging from 10 meters to 100 meters. If the button on the reader is pressed, the WM-5000V7 reader is switched to read the 2.4G RFID tag. Moreover, KO-500V6 can communicate with a computer through a 2.4G communication station without being inserted in it. The reader can be put beside the communication station which is connected with the computer through a USB cable in the range less than 10 meters to download the data in the reader to the computer. Additionally, the battery of KO-500V6 can be charged without opening the reader. The reader can be inserted into the communication station which is connected with electric power to charge its battery.

Features
RFID tags are constructed to withstand intentional sabotages, which can be read from long distances(0-12cm) and operated in wide temperature ranges. They are also completely waterproof, and can be sealed inside non-metalic material walls; Button, circle, keyring, nail and cylinder-shaped cards used as guard tour checkpoints. These can be installed either on or beneath wall surfaces; Key chain-attachable type personnel / incident card used to identify patrol personnel or events and incidents. Its working frequency is 125KHz.

USB communication cable

This cable can be used to connect between the reader and PC, which is according with DY/T1019, IEC61156, ANSI/EIA/TIA-568 standard.

Hardware quick start guide

1. The patrolling guard takes the reader and read his own Guard ID to identify himself with the system

2. Then the guards go to the checkpoints, the Reader will automatically read each RFID tag and no need touch it. When reading successfully, a flash of the red indicator light accompanied by a “beep” means that a reading has been made. The KO-500V6 reader will store the signal card's ID number and time for every station reading.

3. After patrolling are done, use the USB port cable to connect the computer and the Reader directly and have a data analysis and management.
